Default The Appleseed Collective

The Appleseed Collective is a relatively new Americana/jazz/folk/indie four-piece based out of Ann Arbor, Michigan.

I believe they only started playing shows back in December 2010.
However, it seems that they're taking music seriously at this point; playing lots of shows, touring, etc.
In fact, they have a project to purchase a van and convert it to run on veggie oil, which is pretty ambitious aspiration for a new band but nonetheless very cool.

They just had a show in Ann Arbor, which I missed, so I can't comment on their live performance abilities, but what they've recorded thus far sounds more than decent IMHO.
Their style is unique but traditional, so it's better to just listen and see for yourself.
