I love Nick Drake very much. He writes so wonderfully. All his albums are awesome but Pink Moon is my favorite.

To me (having not heard very much) he sounds stream-lined, like he doesn't deviate very much from one song to the next. I do like his sound though, however little it changes.

Well a lot of his stuff was recorded with just him acoustically.

If you check out his Bryter Layter album it`s got strings & orchestral arrangements & has a lot more variety in the sound.

Nick Drake is awesome.. shame about his depression, I love him though.

Right Track's better half here - the comment about living Nick Drake at the moment His music is especially poignant to me as it reminds me very much of my brother.

Have Pink Moon but will try Bryter, sounds good. Does anyone know any details about the little festival they have for him every year where musicians perform his music in local pubs?

From the morning- last track on Pink Moon is absolutely beautiful. Beck i believe did a cover of Parasite aswell.

...and no, i don't look like Brian Dennehey
