Default Selda Bağcan

Discovered this Turkish singer not too long ago. She did a bunch of political songs in the 70's, was imprisoned by the Turkish government in the 80's. Interesting stuff.

Glad to see Selda get a mention here. I first heard her on a compilation of Turkish psychedelic folk artists back in the '90s and then picked up her albums as they were reissued. She's definitely a unique talent with some incredible vocals.
