Figured I'd start a thread for news stories featuring celebrities. Music, TV, film, sports, any category featuring famous faces.

Here's one to get the thread started...


Mickey Rourke wrestling with bills, appealing to fans for help on back rent


He was great in 'Diner', 'The Pope of Greenwich Village' and 'Barfly', just to name three of many he's been in over the years.

WTF, indeed. I really liked “Diner”, although the ending was more 70s or 80s than ‘50s or early ‘60s.

If you wanna know how bad it's gotten for ol' Mickey, I'm getting google notifications about him in Hebrew for some reason. As if this place has no more immediate problems.

Here's a story with a celebrity connection...

Rare first Superman comic once stolen from Nicolas Cage sells for $15m

Cage was reunited with the copy and, six months later, sold it at auction for $2.2m.
Looks like Nicolas is a lot better at handling his money than Mickey.
