Just wait til Google births the God AI and the Singularity passes. You'll have all the "freedom" and "human rights" you can stand.

You act like that would be excluded when it wouldn't.

Until you need somebody with skills to do something important. A system that caters to freedom and human rights would essentially be catering to skills since it'd give people the chance to pursue their passions and hone their skills. People with the skills would rise to ranks where their skills are more beneficial rather than having people who know how to manipulate rising through the system. That's probably a pipe dream, though.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

You say that but you'll still rank people.

Again, you say you're against it, but I don't believe you.

Our system only caters to skills and innovation in the field of military weaponry and defense. Spending as much money as possible to find new and creative ways to kill our fellow humans.

The "Singularity" is a topic that I've been thinking a lot about as of late. I think it deserves it's own thread.

RGB is probably pretty close, just based on the cheery reports that she's doing better in recovery than a 20 year old would.

I think we'll heavily recognize the lead up to technological singularity, but once it's reached, it'll be received (if not presented) as a protection from the singularity.
