Then please enlighten us. I highly doubt any other reason would matter if the population as a whole actually started caring. And it's not simply apathy. Humans in general are only truly concerned with their own small bubble world, with everything beyond that simply being an (often times confusing) abstract concept that is much harder to become emotionally invested in. Chuck in a nation of millions where one vote's power becomes diluted to the point of statistical insignificance and you get a people who can't feel arsed to go to a voting booth.

Your perspective.

I vote thinking about my kids, my nieces and nephews, the next generation in general.

My own bubble world is old and out of step. My kids still have some vested interests.

The people have spoken on the electoral college, and our response is, "Meh".

You can't deny that the electoral college is an undemocratic intitution. People consent to it because they're being socialized into subservience and indolence. That's not democracy.

Besides - is it strange that so many people aren't voting when the two major parties represent the exact same class interests, those of American corporations and capitalists? Anti-elitism and political apathy arise when politicians do not represent the interests of common people. Why vote when you know the outcome already - another victory for the rich.

Of course this is the big story across America tonight:-

Even though she wasn't physically attracted to him, Stormy Daniels agreed to have a consensual interview with Anderson Cooper. On the night in question, Stormy was invited to Anderson's studio, where Anderson persuaded her to answer questions for almost an hour. Although they both knew the risks, apparently neither of them used protection, and this encounter raises furthur cause for concern as it is seen as a pattern of behaviour from Anderson Cooper, who has bragged about interviewing women before. It also lends credence to claims from other women who have accused Anderson Cooper of asking them questions.
