^ I suspect that Chula's referring to Trump's career as a draft dodger.

What about other sports leagues like the MLB and NHL that have teams from Canada. Are U.S. players allowed to show concern about Canada's social injustices by kneeling during the playing of Canada's national anthem at games?
The whole thing is stupid. It comes down to the contract between the employer and the employee, just like at any other job. Do what you are contracted to do. Nothing more, nothing less. If you don't want them to kneel, type it up and make them agree to it, and also agree to consequences for breech of the contract. It's simple business. But, if you REALLY give a shit if someone who you don't even know doesn't stand up, take their hat off and put their hand over their heart when a certain song is played, I think you have bigger problems. I don't ask motherfuckers to do jumping jacks whenever 'Free Bird' hits the speakers. |

In America's new post-truth political climate, I think it's useful to be aware of this process:-
From what I've seen, this is exactly what's happened on these topics:- Birtherism Inaugural crowd-size Phone tapping by Obama Wall construction and Trump's claim that "we have no border" etc, etc. Spygate Feel free to add any that I've missed.

An honourable move.
