You paint some pretty negative intentions behind statements made by people you disagree with. I considered the question and answered honestly. Again, should I just go ahead and lie?

Just being honest. I thought given the context of the discussion you knew the type of joke i was referring to. If you say you were not being intentionally misleading, okay i was wrong to assume.

I'd like it if you (and others) were involved in more discussions, but you just completely took my question out of context and now you're getting defensive. "Wow" is not a contribution to the discussion and I did respond to the latter portion of your response.

The topics in this section are always controversial, and I understand that it's hard to convey a point via text all the time. As witnessed in this thread, I'm definitely not always clear. I just want people to make their best efforts to avoid fallacies and emotion. We've had some pretty good discussions lately that haven't devolved into flaming like they used to.
