I take a 5 hour energy before every gig. May be just mental but I swear it helps.

The lawsuit isn't about whether or not you'll get a lift, 200mg of caffeine will do that, the lawsuit is about all the extraneous claims in their advertising.

I'm sure a lot of people remember the riots in England in 2011, Mark Duggan (guy in possession of a gun who's death sparked a load of cuntishness from thick as fuck Londoners which caught on across the country by thick as fuck bellends who wanted to nick stuff) was killed lawfully, an inquest jury has found.

Kicking off outside the court apparently.

this is the type of situation that would literally make me kill someone

-man gets 6 months in jail for payin too much child support, seein kid too much, etc.

i assumed it was somethin from The Onion or whatever and looked it up on google and there were a bunch of articles about it. i hope this is a satire thing about how the courts regularly bone men in pretty much every situation (but male priv right, feminists????). so if someone sees its a joke let me know so i can manualyl unrustle my jim jims.

That story is true, but the way it's being presented in the article you linked to is kind of misleading. From snopes:

Quote:

The details of the issue are still somewhat unclear, but the claim that Hall was punished for "paying too much child support" appears to be a misinterpretation of the facts of the case.

The crux of the matter seems to be that (as maintained by Hall) a court agreement specifying child support and visitation terms was modified without his knowledge, resulting in his underpaying child support and taking custody of his son outside of the court-approved visitation schedule. When Hall found out about the modified terms, in order to avoid jail time he quickly paid nearly $3,000 in back child support (despite, he claims, having been told during a court appearance several weeks earlier that he was all paid up) and agreed to pay the child's mother $3,000 in attorney's fees (which she presumably incurred in bringing the issue of his non-compliance with the agreement to court).

As much as I admit men do get shafted by the law in cases like this at times, that has got to be bollocks. I can't believe he's been done for that. I'm not saying something hasn't gone on but surely this isn't the full story?

Privilege thing is bollocks imo, I think it exists to a certain extent but it's more of a class thing than a race or gender thing (in the UK, can't speak for the US).

It's funny as well, cos the loudest voices I hear complaining about race and privilege issues are white, middle/upper class women from good backgrounds, typically students with good lives who have fuck all to complain about and the whole thing smacks of pseudo intellectualism and them just wanting to align themselves with a cause/cloak themselves in a veil of righteousness and justice.

EDIT - Ah bollocks Janszoon got there before me.

I totally agree with this. It's rather odd seeing others act above people because they understand white privilege.

But those with kind hearts make it easier for us to understand what actions we do that negatively affects others (so we can change our attitudes or behaviour). There shouldn't be finger pointing or name calling.

It is bollocks because you benefit from it and you don't even realize the special bonuses that you get just from being male. When you are on the outside looking in then it comes to your attention more often but if you are on the inside looking out. You won't notice any difference.

I am able to recognize the privilege that I have as a male in the world. I have the potential to be paid more than women do performing the same tasks. Are you going to look at statistics and say that's bollocks?

It is hard to deny how patriarchal our society is.

You also have the privilege of dying younger, getting harsher sentences for the same crimes and being far more likely to be homeless. So it's really kind of a mixed bag.
