I haven't read the 6 thousand posts that have seemingly been made in here today, but my gut reaction would be to defend controversial speech, even if I don't personally like it. 99% of all banter in here is nothing, so I wouldn't likely consider the full discussion here (still need to read it) worthy of any "do we have a problem here" discussion about modding.

It might surprise some people that I'd like to defend Frown as a mod. I don't always agree with his mode of interaction, but I don't see the charges of him spurring Chula on and such as being 100% warranted either. Chula is lighting his own fire most of the time as far as I can see. He's a passionate man

Anyway - Exo is right that this doesn't need to start again. At least not in this thread imo.

Well... yeah. It would have to get pretty bad before I'd want mod intervention. I just avoid conversations that aren't to my taste.
