This reminds me of an episode of Rake that I saw recently but instead of doing stuff for her son. She ended up taking the money and donations and gambling it away. So in comparison this woman is a good mother.

Lol I saw that too.... actually found that episode distasteful a bit tbh. I'm sure they got complaints. It was kinda offensive to cancer patients

I like how he tried to play it off on the casino and make it seem like they were the predators for preying on her gambling addiction.

I agree but I have this terrible feeling that it might get cancelled before it really hits its stride.

I'm not a big greg kinear fan. Only watched that one episode and it was good but again distasteful with the cancer stuff they had goin on and kinear treating the kid with fake cancer like he had a contagous disease. If that's an indicator if the show tryns be edgy it wont last
