I'm not talking about the government. I don't care what country you live in, if you're a doctor you're a servant to the human race in general, and considering the massive amount of trust that must be put into doctors for people to allow them to stick their fingers up their ass then yeah doctors do owe the public that service if they want to be allowed get into the field/anus.

You wrote "public servant". That's an employee of the government.

Now, if you mean "public slave", then that's a different kettle of fish, because it seems you want to force medical professionals to use their skills, even if they aren't compensated.

Depending on the terms of employment, yes. But not always.

Public servant, servant of the public, whatevs. And I don't know how you got that last bit from what I said.

What if a doctor doesn't want to treat people if s/he's not compensated? Should s/he be forced to provide medical services?

The Batlord 12-16-2018 06:12 PM

I'd say a doctor that would walk by someone bleeding to death on the street is a cuck on another level from you or me walking by and depending on the situation yeah I'd say ignoring someone in need of medical attention should be grounds for having your license taken away.

Zhanteimi 12-16-2018 06:13 PM

Fair enough. Have you ever heard of a story where a doctor has done this?

The Batlord 12-16-2018 06:22 PM

What's your point?

That it's easy to stick pointy things into strawmen.
