Anteater you are very patient mate.

Statistics say other wise.

Just because our system is less racist doesn't mean it isn't racist at all.

There were rich black dudes during slavery, actually.

Every statistician will tell you that this is the most accurate way to gauge societal norms.

I can't believe people are still scared of violent video games.

What the **** is this, 1995?

I'm only ashamed of you being white.

Games have always been seen as the root of most problems so this is no exception. I've still yet to see a valid argument for connecting games to violence. It's mostly opinions. I dont think there's really any connection but again, that's just an opinion.

Rock’n’roll has definitely inspired a lot of sexual promiscuity and physical violence. So has literature and film. I know very little about video games but I’m pretty sure they influence behavior as well. The important thing is that it’s still wrong to censor things even if they really do carry the gravitas to influence behavior.

I can somewhat agree with that. Video games aren't without fault but I'm more of a believer that the type of violence they're talking about is from something far more serious than violence in video games. I'm sure there are exceptions so it's not really black and white. But yes I agree that the other forms of media do have a part in it as well.
