I'm being a bit hyperbolic by saying ban it all together.. but I do think it's having a negative impact.

I think it's causing a variety of depraved fetishes to grow in prominence.. it also provides an outlet for men who don't socialize with women to explore sexuality without any feedback... It ends up giving them unrealistic ideas about sex.. plus it puts a premium on degradation of women

I've heard plenty of women give all kinds of opinions on porn, from it being bad to it having issues, to it being potentially empowering, and any number of nuanced views. TBH I don't think you can take down porn in an honest way that wouldn't take down all of capitalism as well. Otherwise it's just a different form of old Christian moral police with a new coat of paint.

I don't think porn is causing people to **** their mothers, it's just providing a fantasy that's I guess always been there. You might as well whine about 1st person shooters causing people to shoot up schools. And "depraved" is also cringey. Might as well call it degenerate like an honest alt right nonce.

I don't think it should be banned either, but it definitely needs to be regulated to make it safer for porn stars and harder for disgusting pieces of **** to make money off of literal rape.
