Honestly I’ve never heard a white person use the n-word around blacks in a friendly way ever. Seeing how I like my teeth where they are I don’t plan on testing your hypothesis.

I still think it’s just a spelling differentiation not a genuine matter of pronunciation unless it’s unnaturally forced. If anything it’s just a matter of dialect and accent.
