News Alert: 8 people killed after shooting at FedEx facility in Indianapolis, police say
Eight people with injuries consistent with gunshot wounds were pronounced dead at an Indianapolis FedEx facility, police said.

Authorities said they were aware of multiple other injured victims in hospitals.

A mass shooting in the US has long passed being categorized as "I can't believe this news story" I think. Sadly.

Sad but true. Mass shootings were still shocking back in the 80's and earlier but not so much for the past 30 some odd years.

New Variant has Double Mutation

Right. So let me see if I understand this.
India, which is suffering from millions of infections and can't control the virus, has given us a new variant. Boris Johnson, due to go there on a junket sorry important diplomatic mission next month, has NOT cancelled it but scaled it down to one day? So - he'll be going from the UK (where there are 77 cases of the variant already) risking bringing it back and presumably coming in with no quarantine restrictions as he's the PM. And he's already had Covid.

Anyone else think this is irresponsible? Anyone else surprised? No? Just me then. OK.

Why couldn't Mark Twain have given us some history nursery rhymes to help with toddlers like that?
