Problem is it is already damn near impossible to enforce the cultural norm of people wearing masks. People already walk around without them. And nobody knows in a public space whether you've had the vaccine or not so letting them not wear masks just gives cover to all the people who haven't been vaccinated but walk around maskless anyway.

To me it's a sign of disrespect to come near me with out the mask. Whether you've been vaccinated or already had the virus or not. I don't know that. Shut up and put your damn mask on till this **** is over. And I'm saying this as someone who can't wait to not wear these stupid masks. I have to do 12 hour shifts in a mask and ****ing safety glasses. **** is annoying af.

Not that I expect to get the shot before Christmas anyway, when by then it might no longer be necessary, but I'll listen to the advice and follow it, as I always have. I’d be a lot more receptive to that position if collectively people had been willing to take the necessary measures and ENFORCE the necessary measure to stop this thing back when we had the chance.
