I've been yelling about her situation for YEARS now. Those of us who have read the court documents (pertaining to the conservatorship and the routine hearings about whatever) since 2018 and closely observed Britney + her family and her business manager Lou Taylor's (a literal demon) actions and money trail have known that something has been VERY wrong right from the beginning. Courtney Love said that Britney's dad molested her on top of everything else. Hope it isn't true but regardless he is a disgusting moldy monster of a person, as is Lou Taylor, and Judge Penny who has sat and watched this all from the beginning along with her family. Cowards. Hopefully now under the weight of 1000x more public scrutiny than before (now that the general public know that #FreeBritney is NOT and never was some zany conspiracy) they/her attorney Sam and the Judge will do something finally and stop being utterly useless enablers of evil and exploitation.

Let's hope so. The more I think about it, the angrier I get, it's basically dehumanising forced labour and serious abuse. Imagine what suffering and courage it takes to open up to the whole world like that. It's heartbreaking.

I read this headline while browsing a news site and was like "why would you keep your vaccine camps closed for the summer? What you want to do is to get as many folks as you can into these camps, to vaccinate them!"

None of us speak French, bruh.

The headline is that Quebec is going to keep vacation camps closed for the summer, but since we just read the first syllable of any word when we skim through something, I took it to read "vaccine camps", which I took to be part of the general Alex Jonesefication of the world...

Of course a Belgian would speak French.

Yeah the Dutch are notoriously good at foreign languages, at least those I've met.

This even comes up in a famous Dutch film, Spoorloos, which I'm sure you've seen and if not, you really must.

It is. Those of us who have been on the #FreeBritney train for a long while now have been going insane out of concern and anger. Her exhaustion and suffering has been written all over her face in every photo, video and TV appearance, especially around 2018 during the con team's PR spin around her forced, months long rehab stint. All that nonsense about her dad's allegedly dire health being the reason for it.. (meanwhile he's photographed driving around & going fishing). And of course some of us are finding possible connections between those rehab centers (which have terrible reviews) and Lou Taylor. She has her tentacles in everything. She's tried to get countless other stars under a conservatorship as well. Oh, and she's also a proponent of Christian gay conversion therapy, because of course she is.
Btw, it's known among us Britney stans that team con has had TMZ in their pocket for a while now, aside from the occasional vaguely pro-britney story they run when under immense scrutiny.

I'm going to copy & paste the key bits from Britney's full statement from the Exhale forum (Brit fan forum) :

Quote:

Bullet points:

“I truly believe this conservatorship is abusive. I don’t feel like I can live a full life. In the meantime, I want this therapist to come to my home, I’m not willing to go to Westlake... They set me up by sending me to the most exposed places. I need your help.”

“After I’ve told the whole world I’m okay, it’s a lie. I’m not happy and I can’t sleep. I’m depressed. I cry every day ... It's my wish and dream for all of this to end. I want my life back.”

“I feel ganged up on. I feel bullied and I feel left out and alone.”

"I am not happy, I can’t sleep. I’m so angry, it’s insane. And I’m depressed. "My dad and anyone involved in this conservatorship, including my management … they should be in jail."

"They’ve done a good job at exploiting my life, so I feel like it should be an open court hearing and they should listen to what I have to say. A lot has happened since two years ago ... I don’t think I was heard on any level when I came to court last time.”

"Last time I spoke to you [Judge Penny] ... made me feel like was I dead....I just want my life back. It's enough."

"I want to end the conservatorship."

“I’ve been in denial; I’ve been in shock; I am traumatized. I just want my life back.”

“I’m sorry for my ignorance, but I didn’t know that.” Britney said in regards to not knowing she could file a petition to end the conservatorship, something her court-appointed attorney Sam Ingham should have been VERY clear about.

“It’s embarrassing and demoralizing what I’ve been through, and that’s the main reason I didn’t say it openly. I didn’t think anybody would believe me.”

"This conservatorship is doing me way more harm than good" #FreeBritney

"The last time I spoke to you, [the judge] it made me feel like I was dead, like I didn't matter, like you thought I was lying. I'm not lying, so that maybe you understand the depth and degree, I deserve changes."

"I'd like to be able to share my story with the world," she said. "I want to be able to be heard. By making me keep this in for so long, it's not good for my heart. It concerns me I'm not allowed to be able to heard. I have the right to use my voice."
"I want to be able to get married and have a baby. I was told I can't get married."

"My attorney says I can't let the public know what they did to me ... I shouldn't be able to be in a conservatorship. The laws need to change. Ma'am, I've worked since I was 17 years old."

"I can't go somewhere unless I meet someone every week in an office. I truly believe this conservatorship is abusive, but ma'am there are a thousand conservatorships that are abusive as well. I want to end the conservatorship."

"I deserve to have a two to three year break. I feel open, and I'm OK to talk to you about this. I feel ganged up on, bullied, left out and alone. I'm tired of feeling alone. I deserve to have the same rights, having a child or any of those things."

She compared this to s** trafficking

She wants to hire her own council

She'd like to sue her family and court-related people involved

She wants the conservatorship to be dissolved without further analysis

Was forced to have an IUD in her to stop her from having children. "I want to be able to get married and have a baby. I was told with the conservatorship I was not able to get married and have a baby."

“I have an IUD in my body right now that won’t let me have a baby and my conservators won’t let me go to the doctor to take it out.”

Wants to get married but can't

Finds it weird she can't see her friends

Was given Lithium out of the blue for not complying with her team's orders"

^ those quotes sum it up very well. It's all even more heartbreaking because in the way she talks you can hear the pain, but you also hear someone who's battling the feeling that she doesn't deserve to stand up for herself, coming from the abuse she's been through. The way she keeps asserting she deserves to have a life in that defiant but humble way, nobody should have to feel like that's not something you can take for granted.

I haven't seen Spoorloos actually, I was prejudiced against it because it's adapted from a book by Tim Krabbe. I haven't read it, but I tried another of his books and thought it was no good. But of course that doesn't mean the film can't be good, now I feel like giving it a try
