I checked your link but didn't get much information, so I guess it's still too early to know anything.

It says he’s wearing body armor.
These days it’s probably a good sign if the person even wants to survive. Has he said what the **** he wants? |

Edit: they pushed it to 6 I'll be listening here if anyone is interested in tuning in, since no major news sources are reporting on it. how about that stormy daniels tho, amiright http://v6.player.abacast.net/961 |
might be worth noting that campus security is unarmed per CA law
|
It was very brief and didn't offer any new information. There has been no contact since 10:30am so they cannot confirm or deny whether the suspect or the hostages are still alive. So there's been no contact for 8 hours.
|
Maybe they’re trying to contact relatives.
|
Yeah, lots of unconfirmed reports spreading through local news sources right now about multiple casualties. They just sent away medical choppers and half of their resources.

Confirmed all dead. Not clear when exactly they died. I'm skipping the next presser but I'm sure there will be more info coming out, but i gotta tune out of the play by play, this is so ****ed. Time to send my friend and her family some thoughts and prayers I guess. |
That's terrible. Sorry that it's come into your life.
I hate to to bitch about a lack of media coverage since I don't expect major outlets to be journalistic anymore, but I think the likelihood of this being directly related to PTSD could have been a driver behind that coverage decision. And good decision on waiting out what is reported on. I'm trying to avoid breaking stories until an hour or so after they happen because breathless reporting always spouts off a lot of **** that I forget to fact check later on. I'm also not very good at it yet because that **** can be addictive. |

So sorry.

Another teacher meltdown. Give this man a gun! Like he gives a ****. The funny thing is he’s probably the only teacher they have who has enough respect to treat them how they deserve. The other teachers just use fancy teacher talk that boils down to they can’t learn because they’re retarded. I’m sure what he’s been trying to get across is the much more accurate they can’t learn because they’re *******s who never shut their ****ing mouths. |

This near you, Frown? Any details?
One Officer Shot in Standoff with Suspect in Pomona, California |
I shot the officer.

I was sighing because it could have been a lot smarter. Pomona is a couple of hours away from where I live, Cali's pretty big.

Luckily for me, I'm hip enough to pick up on the way you cleverly referenced an obsure Bob Marley song. ;) |

Oh, yeah, of course Frownland got the joke; quite possibly thought of the response while typing, "I shot the officer." Sorry if his scorn gives you a sleepless night haha, but as he says,Cali is pretty big; more important in it's own right than many countries, if my school geography lessons serve me well.

China Clears Way for President For Life
Take note, people! The future of the USA, if Trump hears about this. |

But as with his other policies on environmental issues, tax cuts, mounting national debt and heavy industry, his attitude is always, "Screw the next generation, I'm going to get mine now," and unfortunately a lot of short-sighted Trumpets seem to agree, even though it's the reverse of responsable government, or the stewardship of resources from one generation to the next. The article also re-itterates a warning made in this thread already; "Trump reversal of elephant trophy ban underscores the need to watch what he does, not what he says". |
Trumpets! ****ing brilliant! Are the female supporters called Trumpettes?
|
I still don't understand how my democrat mother could have voted for him just because she was on some single issue **** about corporate taxes. I'm getting the distinct feeling that no matter how much I point out about him being human trash as a president that she's going to put on the blinders just so that she doesn't have to admit that she betrayed her principles (she's a ****ing vegetarian animal lover) for the sake of republican nonsense.
Dear god I hope he gets JFK'ed. No matter what it does to the country, the satisfaction would be absolutely priceless and I'd be able to live in a world without him in it. |

Jesus Christ I actually care less about voting now than I did before. Yeah, if people voted more and were more educated this could have been avoided, but if frogs had wings they wouldn't bump their ass when they jump. All I know is that the human race is willing to vote for Adolf Hitler and Donald Trump. My fellow man is simply not worth my time to care. I just hope the elephants can survive our idiocy. |
