Yes there are fake stories but there are also real stories as well.

Only one of the kidnapping ones was fake. The other one was real also the reason that one guy in a clown suit got shot. It is more than just media hype. There was a clown holding a rifle at this one overpass near where I live.

Go ahead and tempt fate. Don a clown suit and see how long you survive.
