Wow, quite the ****storm I've missed today. Time to weigh in.

First off there are 1.6 billion people in the world who identify as Islamic. The overwhemingly vast majority of them don't take the Kuran 100% literally. Just like most Christians don't take all of the bible literally. Painting any religion with a broad brush because of a tiny percentage of nutjobs is just plain ignorant and wrong.

Should I hate or be bigoted towards all Christians because of Eric Rudolph, Scott Roeder, James Kopp, Paul Hill, and Clayton Waagner?

Watching the parents of Olivia Campbell tonight is ripping me apart. It took almost 24 hours for them to find out she was one of the dead. So ****ed up.

Knowing Duterte I don't imagine that's an idle threat.

He wants to expand it to the whole country as well.

My old landlord (a Filipino immigrant who's lost family under sketchy allegations of drug use) used to say that he feared an event like this that would give Duterte a doorway to martial law and outright fascism. Looks like he was right on that one.
