Trump is only coming up in conversation about the Nobel Peace Prize because President Moon specifically thanked Trump for paving the way for the talks to happen. That's why the media is in a frenzy: Trump didn't just arbitrarily take credit in this case.

That quote doesn’t disprove what you’re saying though.

It’s hard to imagine Trump winning the NPP but I probably would’ve bet my life against a nickel that he wouldn’t win the primary. Then again the presidency. Now I don’t assume absurdities won’t happen. They keep happening.

Well the way I read Ant's post (and I may have misinterpreted it) was that it wasn't Trump claiming credit, but that others were doing it for him.

Great job, Michelle Wolf - in 20 mins you did more damage to the press's hard-won claims to decency and integrity than Trump has done in a year.
