Small private businesses are killed by big corporations. Make light of it if you want but good honest weed dealers often can’t transition to the legal market. It doesn’t mean I’m against legalization but it is a downside. Legalization redistributes that income away from local businesses.

Well, I don't know if he is syndicated in Europe,
but Steves has people now that he hires as helpers
in different countries and I think she has that special
position as tour guide for people coming to, for instance, Berlin.

So what? I don't give a rats ass about "Small Private Business" when that business is some idiot that doesn't have the common sense to educate him/her self and turns to "Slingin' Weed" for income because they don't have a HS diploma and can't get a job. Too ****ing bad. Local businesses... pahleease. lol What's that Weed Slingers taxable income? Does he/she put in for SS? How about profit sharing and 401k? Tuition assistance?

Using a term like "Small Private Business" as a description for your weed guy is pretty funny, actually.

It's pretty funny that you view everyone involved in the industry as 20-something dealers. Has it really been that long mate?

In the 30+ years of my involvement in such things, 99% of the people who distribute the stuff fall into the jobless 20 something year old demographic. There are some exceptions, but most people grow up and realize there's a better life out there... with benefits. My age has nothing to do with it, and if by "That Long" you mean two days ago, then yes.

It's funny you go on the attack with the age thing. It hints at some underlying insecurities about yourself, no? I think yes.
Probably just a 180 degree different scene in California since my anecdotal experience has the majority of them handling it very professionally and still struggling with the upcoming regulations. One guy I know is a distributor trying to get legal who's already sunk over 200k into it so ja, maybe corporatization and deterioration of the product as has already happened in Washington is a valid concern even if your dealer was a middleman.

Let the chips fall where they will. Like I said, I don't care about the business aspect of it, I'm just strongly against putting gentle, harmless people through the penal system. That's my only gripe really.

I get that, I just think that highly regulated legalization is overromanticized since decriminalization could accomplish that without altering the industry that much.

It takes a certain skill set not many people have, actually. You’re not going to be doing it for long unless you’re pretty ****ing smart.
