That’s a good one

I’m sure a lot of people would rather the president **** off when this **** happens

That’s why they vet people first

I figure that’s been the M.O. since around Lincoln (should mo be capitalized?)

The point about that was that people basically knew she didn't approve of Diana, whom she saw as not quite a commoner but at least not royal, and was probably pissed that her daughter-in-law was getting more press than her and people loved her more. She was silent on the princess's death, for a long time, which was a deliberate snub, and people saw it as such. She was the "people's princess" (who the **** coined that phrase I wonder?) and they saw the Queen as the evil stepmother or whatever. She miscalculated badly and it took some manoeuvring to get back in the people's good books.

^ Wonder no more, Trollheart! Alistair Cambell put it into a speech he was writing for Tony Blair to read out, and of course the press just loved it.....

Obama overturned laws preventing guns in checked baggage on trains as well as doing away with the requirement for guns to be in a locked glovebox when entering national parks or wildlife refuges. He did however have a couple of executive orders that amounted to "ffs people let's actually enforce these laws" that Trump has since overturned.

Trump issued the threat during a meeting with state and local officials on school safety and gun violence. He told Attorney General Jeff Sessions and others that his administration has targeted members of the violent MS-13 gang but has been "getting no help from the state of California."
Wait, so he turned a recent school shooting into a soapbox to race bait? Reagan's looking pretty good right about now.

Manafort and Gates are in deep ****:

Quote:

In the 37-page indictment, prosecutors describe a "scheme" in which the two longtime business partners allegedly laundered $30 million, failed to pay taxes for almost 10 years and used real estate they owned to fraudulently secure more than $20 million in loans.
Manafort is 68, and if convicted, would die in prison.

Trump is sweating bullets........

Frownland 02-22-2018 04:30 PM

You know in Raising Arizona how when everyone looks at they baby they say "ah he's gonna be a criminal, just look at the twinkle in his eye." That baby was Paul Manafort. To say nothing of the actual indictment, I seriously cannot think of a more criminal looking/acting/smelling human.
