Fair enough. Personally I find slinging shit in a culture war to be a very bad idea.

I don't disagree. My point is that it's no surprise that it happened. It'd be no surprise if Donald Trump was treated the same way. If you act ****ty, don't act like it's not deserved when it comes back.

The cake situation and this one are completely different. We had a thread on this if I recall: they weren't refused service for being gay.

Sanders is being refused service because she has a particular job position, and was then harassed by the owner after leaving said premises. Have any of you ever been refused service somewhere for a reason like that?

Correct. So let's not compare the two anymore. I only did so because it's the same concept of being within their rights. Otherwise I agree. They are not comparable.

EDIT: I don't agree rhat it wasn't because they were gay. I was saying correct to the first part of your post.

Yes. Being in the US Armed Forces in Germany there were some "No GI's!" signs in the windows of a few establishments. We put a chair through one of em, and I got to see what the inside of a German lockup looked like. I wonder why they didn't want us there.
