Default You and Me Killed the Kennedys

A Political/opinion Survey, pieced together from several sources. Feel free to add questions, etc. Perhaps we could make a more intelligent Saturday 6 pack? Except, a Thursday one. With more than 6.

Do you think that Republicans are ignorant?: That seems to be the general consensus. But let's talk about Israel.

Why do people become religious extremists?: Maybe they were raised that way. Maybe they're running from something. Maybe it was the creepy neighbor.

What's your opinion on American life opposed to the European way of living: All I know is that, in America you're an alcoholic. In Europe, you're cultured.

Do you believe that there is something out there, and if you do so, why?: "Out there" is a very vague term. So, no.

Do you think that there will be more major terrorist attacks soon?: Everything can be considered an attack.

Do you think that the *** Marriage bill will ever be passed?: In some states it already has. Kudos.

What is your least favorite country or area?: This one.

What is your favorite country or area?: South New Guinea. No more, "Oh, hey, yeah let's go, uhm, clone another GOAT."

What about the changing climate, do you worry about it?: The weather will continue to change on and off until the end of time.

Have you ever had/do you believe in deja-vu?: Many times, most days.

What's more important, a cure for cancer or one for aids?: Cancer. But I'm biased.

Do you think the Islam and Christianity will ever commence a war?: Have you ever read a history text?

Was 9/11 an inside job?: It was an American plane!

Are you a republican/democrat? No/no.

Are you a conservative/liberal? No/and I'd hate to call myself one of those at risk of sounding like a douchebag.

What's your stance on gun control: Mel Brooks once wrote, "if everyone in the world had a flower instead of a gun, there would be no war." Now, don't take that literally, that's incredibly naive. Though of course, there'd be a lot less deaths, I presume.

Abortion views?: Pro-choice. Not because it's trendy. Just because it's right. Not just when she's raped, not just when she's young, not just when the fetus is at risk of having problems... just because if a woman/girl doesn't think she is ready for a child, she shouldn't have it. If she's irresponsible, yeah, maybe she shouldn't have spread in the first place, but she did and it happen, and an innocent kid shouldn't have to suffer for it. And by that last sentence I mean, shouldn't have to live through it.

What do you think of George Bush and his administration?: They should all be tried for mass murder.

John Kerry?: He wasn't Bush. That was his advantage. Evidently, it wasn't enough.

Al Gore?: Al Gore is going through a mid-life crisis. He's getting hot flashes and everything.

Bill Clinton?: He get's a bad rap... he was a damn good president who was horny, we shouldn't hold that against him.

Hillary Clinton?: She annoys the hell out of me. Don't know why, can't put my finger on it. Wouldn't have wanted her in office, no.

Michael Moore?: One of the most unflinching, honest minds of our time.

Ronald Reagon?: As a president, hell no, he should burn forever in the ocean of fire. As a friend of Frank Sinatra, yes, we should drink together in the heaven I don't believe in.

Donald Trump?: Is a horrible human being.

this is only one of many examples i could've used to make the point that this is not a "more intelligent version of the saturday six-pack" at all and, also that you are an idiot

don't try this again. ever.

I find it particularly amusing how you posed stupid questions, and then exposed the stupidity of YOUR questions with YOUR answers.

Also, you can't spell Reagan, your comment on 9/11 and it being an american plane is utterly idiotic, and the fact that you admire Michael Moore for being honest is baffling.

Fail. Epic fail.

Let me use this opportunity to just say one thing and not get into a tiresome, futile argument: I did not make up these questions, I do not own them in any way.

Do you think that Republicans are ignorant?:
I don't know, I'm not an american.

Why do people become religious extremists?:
Of course there are many ways of becoming a religious extremist, but talking America .. Many are brought up to be religious in a religious environment. Their faith becomes so integrated in their lives that when they defend it, they're defending their childhood, their way of life, their friends, their family. To lose their faith would take away so much, so the (perhaps unconcious) motivation for staying religious is powerful.

What's your opinion on American life opposed to the European way of living:
Stupid question because there are many ways of life in America and Europe. Norway is definetly not Italy or England and I guess Montana may not be like Florida. My prejudices tells me that America is less cultured, more fake, more opportunistic, more paranoid, more consumerist, further removed from nature. I'm not a slave to any of those views.

Do you believe that there is something out there, and if you do so, why?:
If you mean space, then yes. I believe that life will tend to appear if there's a chance of it happening. I don't believe we'll ever make contact with anything intelligent out there. Perhaps some radio waves at most. I don't believe in ghosts or people being psychic or having healing powers. I'll admit it's a possibility just like everything is a possibility, but aside from not being very well documented scientifically despite numerous attempts, I think believing in that sort of stuff brings more trouble than it's worth.

Do you think that there will be more major terrorist attacks soon?:
I don't know, really. What is soon?

Do you think that the *** Marriage bill will ever be passed?:
More very american questions .. I don't know. I hope so.

What is your least favorite country or area?:
I don't really know.

What is your favorite country or area?:
The southernmost parts of Norway, without a doubt.

What about the changing climate, do you worry about it?:
I don't worry about it because I don't think it'll be such a huge problem here. The problem in Norway will be that everyone else will have a hard time, for example agriculture further south in Europe will be hard and that will affect us. Possibly, there will be a lot of eco-refugees sometime in the future.

Have you ever had/do you believe in deja-vu?:
How can you not believe in it? It's a fairly normal human experience. I think it's the result of something chemical going on in the brain.

What's more important, a cure for cancer or one for aids?:
cancer because if any of those are going to affect the people I love, it's most likely going to be cancer.

Do you think the Islam and Christianity will ever commence a war?:
I don't know. If there is a war with America and an islamic country, I don't believe America is doing it to push forward the christian belief. I think there will be more interests on both sides, so .. In that way, I don't see a religious war between christianity and islam happening anytime soon.

Was 9/11 an inside job?:
Don't know and I don't care enough to waste energy speculating that.

Are you a republican/democrat?
Another american question, but I'm a social democrat.

Are you a conservative/liberal?
Meh

What's your stance on gun control:
I think the lack of it is doing a lot of harm overseas. Guns should only be sold to people who use them for hunting and who have the right training and license to prove it. Guns who's purpose is not to shoot or scare animals should not be sold.

Abortion views?:
I'm pro-choice.

What do you think of George Bush and his administration?:
Not a good PR guy for you americans.

The rest of the questions are just too american to answer. :p
