The people that have been growing marijuana this whole time that it has become popular enough to legalize support our economy up here. All the legit businesses are supported by them.

In fact that is one of the arguments to legalize it, which in principle is a good idea to me.

The way the current bill was written, these people would not be able to participate in commercial production for the most part. The governement would co-opt the production.

A casual smoker would enjoy getting marijuana with easy access and no legal hassles, but they would pay more than necessary and get maybe not as good quality. Do you like bris, pepper jack, or "government cheese?"

Casual smokers will still enjoy this easy access and lack of legal hassles when the bills are written to include the people that pioneered the introduction into the culture
