Well naming calling, personal attacks are not warranted to either Bungolow or anyone else you had in mind.

Anyway Bungalow been insulting me and my English for a while now, and I didn't resort to calling him a troll or a douchebag, and I wouldn't either.

Freebase Dali 07-28-2009 05:24 PM

I wasn't talking about Bungalow.

Are we really going to circle this bush like this or are you still on the fence about whether you're ignorant, or just trolling this thread?

I feel both of you set traps for me and I unwittingly fell into them. I did not troll anyone, Bungalow was the one who giving me a hard time. I started this thread to talk about the first Lunar Landing, and I shouldn't had answer him, because he was being inflammatory to me and bringing up off topic things like Hitler.

To me that whole thing about Hitler invading Poland was a trick question, if I said 'yes Hitler invaded Poland,' I was worried he would of teased me and say "no it was the German Nazi Army," so I thought I would beat him to the punch. I thought he would say something to me like "do you honestly believe Hitler invaded Poland by himself?" then I would had egg on my face. btw I never said Hitler wasn't head of the German Nazi Army, that was a conclusion you came to, and anyway Hitler is beyond the scope of this topic.

You know I had to looked up troll on wikipedea just to see what you were talking about, and I found out it is an ad hominem attack. I also had to look up the word "douchebag" on Urban Dictionary and I fail to see anyone who fits that discriptiion.

Man.. how old are you?

P.S.. Bungalow used Hitler as a historical known fact to compare to the lunar landing.
It's clearly stated in the comment he made.
I honestly don't understand how you could have perceived it as a "trick question".

Urban Hat€monger ? 07-29-2009 12:10 PM

Can we quit with all the word definitions, personal attacks & all this Adolf Hitler crap & get back on topic now please.

Freebase Dali 07-29-2009 02:34 PM

Aye'aye cap'm.

So does anyone have a good comparative source for both sides of this lunar landing argument?

i still think their is a good possibility that we didn't. Just because scientists say this stuff is real, doesn't make it that. If this never happened, then the scientist are only there to cover it up, so what they say could be a lie, but you believe in it. I don't trust the government at all, i still think that 9/11 was an inside job as well.

What makes everyone think we can't land on the moon today? We could if we wished, but what's the point? There is none and it takes time and money.

Well the simple fact is, unlike other historic events that have thousands and maybe even millions of eye-witnesses, the first manned mission to the moon only has two witness that honestly know they actually landed on the moon. And that is enough for many to cause a shadow of a doubt, and basicly the first manned mission is suspect! - or simply incredulous for many. There are different degrees of skepticism for some all Lunar Landings are fake, some believe the whole project for a manned mission was staged and everyone part of NASA was in on it. Some knowningly and mostly others unkowningly were part of the Appollo Hoax. (That would totally suck if you were at Misssion Control and you were pushing buttons on console that didn't do anything.) Some believe at least part of Apollo 11 was staged for various reason. One reason I heard is that President Kennedy wanted to land men on the moon before the decade was over, and NASA wasn't ready to complete the project in time, so part of it was staged - it was all done in honour & memory of JFK.

I can't rule out all manned missions to the moon, there were a dozen men who walked on the moon, and not all them had the same publicity and the need for a cover as the first manned mission to the moon.
