In other words anything that ever happens in the U.S.
Funny how it's never like that in other places.

I was in London in 1993 when the IRA bombed Whitehall. Maybe I should start a conspiracy theory about that saying that I was involved or something.

I'm pretty sure the moon landing didn't happen in the US. :p:

Have you not seen the YouTube videos? It wasn't the IRA at all, it was a militant faction of the Illuminati.

No it was me, I accidentally lit one of my farts in the pub next door.

Fixed.

Why do you say it as if we only went to the moon once? There was more then one moon landing, there where 6 American manned missions to the moon. All in all there was 50 expenditions (manned and unmanned) to the moon by the early 90's. Maybe a possible lunar bombing in the near future. A lunar base is only a pipe dream for now.

He didn't say it "as if we only went to the moon once." He said moon landing, singular, because he was specifically referring to the first moon landing as it's the subject of a conspiracy theory and relevant to the discussion; unlike your post which is just useless.

I used the singular because I was referring to the first moon landing, the one the conspiracy theories all talk about.

In your original post you didn't say what kind of Fundamentalist they were. "Fundamentalist" can mean anything, Al-Qaida are fundamentalist Sunni. So I took umbrage at that, it is a thread about 9/11 and your lumping fundamentalist (which I thouhgt you meant Al-Qaida) and Truthers together. imo that's offensive since America was underattack by Sunni Fundamentalist Al-Qaida on September 11th, '01. You use a broad term, "Fundamentalist," but expect every one to specificly understand you meant. Only later, in that other post I quoted did you mention Hagee and Wesboro.

I don't understand what the "Truther" being "nuts" have to do with Christian Fundamentalist, to me your statement is just another derogatory jab at Christianity , making it out to be "nutty" and that is so annoying, Christianity is partly why America was attacked on 9/11. I'm not saying it's the only reason, no doubt Al-Qaida a laundry list why they attacked us.

I didn't care about this topic in the first place.

sleepy jack 09-15-2009 10:47 AM

You're offended by something that's just ignorance on your part. I wouldn't describe al-Qaeda as religious fundamentalists, Bin Laden and by extension this whole Jihadists movement have to make some pretty liberal interpretations of the Qu'ran to justify their actions and those interpretations would shock any rational imam. Religious extremists would be a more apt term.
