Shouldn't The Batlord be abbrev. to TBL? That could also stand for either the Big Lebowski or maybe a dyslexic BLT.

GOD DAMN IT! People, leave VEGN alone!

I want to read her documentary concerning the over-nite stay at the fucking haunted motel!

Geesh.

It puts forth various possibilities, but considering how similar all of the experiences are, it seems to me that there would be some singular or more narrow explanation. Maybe not though. Maybe it's always a combination of factors.

I was pretty sure I did comment on this post. This still sums up my position quite well. Just like I said in the post previous to this one, I prefer the "unknown" (much more interesting), so I'm not eager to find out what those factors or causes of the phenomenon are.

I love that you were quoting yourself. Tehehe.

It's not made up BS.
Human beings tell themselves whatever they need to during a disagreement and or if they are having a hard time digesting something, like I'm a troll, for example. The problem I encounter with most egos is they have nothing to show for it. I do.
Hate to tell you this but tore is by far not the most intelligent counterarguer I've dealt with on the subject of ghosts. If that's all you guys have that's sad. Of course you have me, but there's the mentality I am too good to be true.

Anyway I was going to document (write a log) here about my stay at the infamously haunted hotel but I'm already defeated before beginning.

You 'dealt' with me? From what I can tell, your last reply to me looked like a simple cop out. You've consistently failed to defend your position with any reasonable arguments. You've made some statements, but haven't based them on anything. While I tried to discuss this, you focused more on criticizing my character, complaining about how arrogant I am or how I think I'm better than everyone or how I behave on other threads. Or you'd write about yourself (seems a favorite topic with you) or very unrelated things like how you can feel that I am spritually budding.

I wanted to have a serious discussion with you, but you're clearly not capable. And you're often offensive in a way that you yourself seem completely oblivious to because you are so self-absorbed. When I read your posts, I also get the impression you are paranoid and all in all, it makes me think you may be living up to your username. Not that you're crazy in a funny, quirky way, but that you are actually mentally ill and confused.

If I'd just left it at that, with those two paragraphs above, you'd probably write a reply where you conclude that I am in love with you or that all men are just a little crazy around you. What you really need is a reality check.

But sure, let us know how it goes in the haunted house.

CrazyVegn 07-15-2013 06:51 PM

^You failed to prove that ghosts do NOT exist. Your whole discussion is a fail in the fact that you would make somebody LOVE to believe in ghosts. Don't you see this?
No, I'm not paranoid. Look at your profile in comparison to mine and tell me who is...

And you can't prove that they do exist so why would that matter at all? I asked if you could prove you're not a flower and you never did. Should I assume you are a plant now just because you didn't prove otherwise?

What you've just pointed out is called an appeal to ignorance, and is something to be avoided in a debate.

The lack of evidence disproving the existence of a thing is not evidence proving the existence of a thing. The only thing that can be ascertained from an appeal to ignornace is that there is not enough information to support or refute either conclusion.

FX. Say I believe in God. The fact that you cannot disprove his existence is not evidence that he exists.

CrazyVegn 07-15-2013 07:16 PM

No, seriously. Imagine your whole life is a dream and one day, you wake up. Your life as a human being will be a fading memory and you're really a plant on an alien planet. It may sound nutty, but how would you go about proving this is not actually true?

Paedantic Basterd 07-15-2013 07:17 PM

I don't think it is. If it were, you wouldn't be attempting to discredit Tore for failing to disprove such a hypothesis.

CrazyVegn 07-15-2013 07:18 PM

Actually, I'm the only one of us who provided evidence. There is a very disturbing video several pages ago where chairs move and things go flying off the wall.

Videos and photography are easily falsified and manipulated, and are done so for profit and attention millions of times every day in films and on youtube, so surely you cannot fault anyone for remaining unconvinced of your point based on a scientifically unsubstantiated video on the internet.

He faulted me for remaining unconvinced. I don't care if someone believes in ghosts or not as long as you don't attack me for my beliefs like he has.

I think you read a lot between the lines, maybe more than you read the lines themselves and, no offense, but that may lead to misinterpretations on your part. Perhaps you should reread my posts? You may not believe this, but I didn't really get into this with a hostile attitude. At least none was intended or felt on my part so I find it a little puzzling that you feel so attacked. If you want, we can try to start over fresh and keep it nice and respectful.

All I want is to be left alone by BOTH of you, grrr. My guess is you are both heavy in Taurus, Virgo, or Capricorn. IDK

Well, if you write things that I don't agree with, I might comment on that. That's just how it is on a discussion forum and discussions is the reason I visit MB. If you can't accept that, I again suggest that you add me to your ignore list.

Ditto. I've been using forums for over 10 yrs. You have to accept that I will disagree with you and other people have a right to their opinion. If you cannot stand that, well then...

Brilliant.

Like A spooky ghost? I dunno, it's difficult for me to see one in my room or in a haunted house or at my neighbor's dark room. I just hope if I ever see one, please let it be the light of the end of the tunnel.
