So you deleted it?

Well, you could have just made it so people couldn't make comments.

But at least now you know better, if you want to reach intelligent, thoughtful people, Youtube is the last place you want to be.

The weirdest thing here is that while you are outraged by racism in others you actually seem to buy into the bullshit notion of Haitians being satanists, an idea which itself has racist, xenophobic origins.

Ah, must be good ol' Pat Robertson.

That guy is freaking insane, he's 79 and he claims to be able to leg press 2'000 pounds, which is physically impossible.

Yeah, apparrently a bunch of slaves made some infamous pact with the devil 200 years ago during the Haitian revolution or something like that, I have no clue how much validity this story has but it doesn't really matter, making a pact with the devil during times of desperation doesn't make you a Satanist.

Actually, I'll tell you exactly how much validity it has: zero. It's a product of European Christians who couldn't believe that a bunch of slaves were able to lead a successful rebellion against them and came up with the excuse of satanism because they xenophobically viewed African religious practices as "satanic".

The Red Cross will be seeing some of my pay cheque today. I donated money after the South Pacific Tsunami in 2004, when that Earthquake leveled Bam back in 2003, and after Hurricane Katrina/Rita 2005.

It's just like how some Christians view all secular music as coming straight from Lucifer, because for whatever reason they believe he is the only supernatural being capable of good songwriting.

well its more that he's seductive. People like that are always looking at the other and never self-reflecting.

Yah. I saw that. Pat Robertson is a nutjob. Right after he said they "made a pact with the devil" he followed up by saying "true story". How can he claim that it's a "true story"? Was he there? *rolls eyes*

And the "funny" thing is, that reporter who interviewed him wasn't even shocked or anything when he said that. She just acted like he just said "apples are good for you" or something. She didn't even ask him anything regarding that, didn't try to refute it, nothing.

Pat Robertson's notoriety as a spiteful curmudgeon isn't exclusive to secularists, he's long been criticized by even nominally polite Christians. The only other person on the far right that could possibly eclipse his trollish behavior is Rev. Fred Phelps, whose wildly antagonistic behavior has prompted legislation from no fewer than seventeen different states.

As a sympathizer myself I'd urge anyone considering it to send money first, prayer later.
