The conspiracy for this one comes from the fact that if you're in the Bermuda Triangle when some heavy storms or a hurricane is going on, you're ****ed. So people haven't died there because of magic or anything, just the weather.

It started with the mysterious vanishing of planes in the area. It's like the fish that got away and the story grew, and the explanation leaned more and more into realm of the para-normal, like time portals, or planes being intercepted by USOs (Unidentified Submersible Objects) etc etc. One scientific explanation about disappearance of airplanes was there are fissures under that part of ocean that release methane gas and when the planes flew through the methane gas it caused engine trouble and they flamed-out and crashed. Another explanation was anomalies in the Earth's magnetic field that causes instrumentation failure.

I've heard a couple interesting conspiracies about the Bermuda triangle.

I have a friend that is into just about every conspiracy theory you can think of and he told me that when the govt was experimenting with nuclear technology around WWII they conducted some test out there and ended up ripping a hole in the space-time continuum. So whenever those planes disappeared out there they basically were being sucked into a vortex which would then deposit them in another dimension.

The other theory regarding the triangle that I came across was one day after watching a ron paul video on youtube I made the fortunate mistake of clicking a link that was posted in the user's video description. The link took me to a site that seemed like a blog for one particular conspiracy theorist. As I browsed through the blog I came across one interesting theory. Basically the blog claimed that the lost city of Atlantis was located somewhere off the lower east coast of the US along the coastal ridge and that you could identify it on google maps by the fact the the area in question was purposely 'pixelated' by the US govt. The area was roughly in the proximity of the Bermuda triangle and so the blog explained that all of the planes which had disappeared were shot down in attempt by the the US govt to keep secret the hidden location of the lost city.

That's the Bermuda Triangle Conspiracy version 2.0. Which only begs the question: what are they trying to cover up by not mentioning it?

I just read one about the Rugrats saying that none of them existed and are a figment of Angelica's imagination. Tommy was stillborn, so his father builds toys for his lost son. Chuckie died in the car crash with his mother, sohis dad is all distraught all the time. Phil and Lil were either an abortion or miscarriage, and since the gender was never known, one of each was made up by Angelica. Crazy stuff.

Oh that's a cool thread. Starting with strange german conspiracy theories:

Before the 21.12.2012 there was this theory, that after WW2, Adolf Hitler left earth with his U.F.O to a planet called...A...something with A, sounded a lot like Alderaan. And this planet only contains aryan people and high ranked nazis. So when the 21.12.2012 would come, Hitler could have simulated the wheather conditions to look very apocalyptic, come down to earth with his U.F.O and tell all the aryans to kill all inferior races, to say "Sieg Heil" and get on his U.F.O. to the aryan planet...lol
damn it. why am i aryan?

As much as I hate virtually every conspiracy theory, this one really takes the cake
