But condoms are percieved as encouraging premarital sex.

One of the reasons they are against condoms is because of your seed dying when it should be used for procreation another reason they are against masturbation.

I found some of my old diaries from when I was 13 and a raging fundie Christian. It's ironic that I used to be VERY homophobic given that now I'm bisexual.

I now think that as long as it's not harming anyone else, it's none of anyone else's business.

Don't think I've ever actually been a homophobe. I remember feeling sorry for the gays getting murdered by the Nazis when my dad told me about it at the age of like, 6, because I thought they hadn't done anything wrong or strange (the gay people that is, not the Nazis). In fact, I'd call myself a supporter of homosexuality more than anything else.

One passage of my diary actually had me calling for all gay people to be stoned to death because the Bible told me to do so. Man, I was a terribly messed up kid....

I'm pretty sure the bible didn't say to stone homosexuals to death. It's more the followers of the bible and Jesus Christ that misinterpret the bible and it's teachings.

People who generally are homophobic are ignorant and don't see the big picture.

Well, when we're kids we do what we perceive from our peers. No need to blame yousrelf for having some extreme views on it. We're all messed up as kids really. Although I was raised agnostic, so obviously I didn't have a Bible influence.
