True. In fact, hardly anyone uses logic these days. Jones gets offended. Integrists get offended. Everyone says Jones offended Muslims. However, no one in the World gets offended when reading this...

Paradoxically that proves his point.

So which days would you say were a time when a lot of people did use logic?

I meant that, since the invasion of "political correctness", many people have assumed some irrational ways of thinking. To be more precise, I referred to that absurd notion of "collective sensitivity" (let's say it this way), which is an absolutely illogical idea, a kind of "pseudo-intellectual garbage" used as a subterfuge to restrict freedom of expression. Sensitivity is an INDIVIDUAL feature. It cannot be "collective". I think there was a time when that was clear to most of the people.

A derivation from that mentioned stupid idea states, more or less, that "the number of people you refer to is proportional to the seriousness of your "offence"". Bullsh*t. It seems there's no problem in "offending" mankind, as misanthropes have always done:

Or religion in general (and sometimes also, but not necessarily, "religious people", which is a different concept, despite some tend to confuse both things):

And there should be no problem indeed. But if you say anything "inconvenient" about Islam (which is something different to "Muslim people"), the guardians of political correctness start to bomb you with their well-known verbal diarrhoea: "how dare you offend 1.5 billion people and blah blah blah blah..."

Another sign of "decadence" is that we're losing our sense of humor when it comes to religion. But I hope this is only a "temporary phenomenon" and we'll regain our healthy capacity to ease the tension soon.

Before Islamic issues came to our lives (accompanied by the political correctness mafia), we didn't use to dramatize religious affairs. But now we're all too serious, nervous, sometimes even aggresive (at least verbally), and we frequently lose our temper. And that's not good. I miss the "old times", when, for instance, a film director could make a comedy about religion, like Monty Python's Life of Brian or The Meaning of Life.

Someone has to break the taboo again, and it's better to do it with humour. We all should smoke a joint as this Australian man did. Choose the book you prefer: Bible, Quran, a Buddhist one, or an atheist or agnostic one if you like, etc...

I don't really understand hatred towards political correctness. It's clumsy, and often doesn't work sure, but it's better then what we had before. I'm kind of glad society would frown on a white guy walking up to a black family and calling them a bunch of lazy niggers. Maybe that's just me though.
