Also you guys sound crazy "some deranged guy who couldn't adopt a cat might have burned it down", next you'll be blaming the bush administration or the illuminati. There is a HUGE chance that this was an accident.

Humans aren't going around looking for animals to kill, there's not any conspiracy theory here people. Some cats died in an accidental fire, hardly animal cruelty.
I was just stating that as a random possibility since we don't have the full facts of the story. I wasn't claiming any of that to be a FACT.

Yeah I know but it seemed like a massive stretch of the imagination, out of all the scenarios you could have concocted that was by far the most random. Perhaps it's a cultural thing but I find it more likely someone left something alight that they shouldn't have (cigarette or some sort of appliance like hair straightners). And if it was deliberate it was probably the fire that was deliberate rather than the intent to wipe out a small clan of kittens, for example kids setting fire to a trash can or something. It's rare for someone to set fire to an entire building because of some grudge they have against cats... I mean come on.

lol I have a good imagination at times.

there just seems to be something fishy about this story and I don't like it so that's why I came up with the scenarios. I would agree that it could've been an accident but they usually find out that information pretty quickly and say that the source of the fire was an accident. They happened to omit how the fire originated so my mind ran away with different scenarios.

Perhaps it was just crap journalism? lol They usually release information commenting on whether or not the fire is being treated as "suspicious".

All we can do until they release more information is speculate I suppose.

I have a quick question for the animal lovers in this thread, how do you feel about keeping pets? (I'm trying to get an idea on how 'extreme' your values are as I know some people believe all animals should be 'free')

Assuming it was arson, it was probably kids, I guess is what I'm saying.

I thought you animal lovers might get a kick out of this;

"The black and white cat was put inside a microwave oven by Sherlock and the microwave was switched on.

Roxy was then pushed into a tumble drier and spun before being put in a freezer and finally "dunked" in a bowl of washing up water."

I would refrain from supporting animal cruelty or hinting that its amusing in any way. Animal lovers are more passionate than alcoholic southern baptists. Just ask this guy

I wasn't supporting animal cruelty you idiots. Just last week someone posted an article about animal cruelty and was asking why it doesn't get more attention in the news, All I did was the exact same thing, I thought you people might want to hear about his article I read today, I thought it would start a discussion, keep the thread alive.

Get a grip you ****ing ****s.
