I woke up at 1.15pm, just in time to see the fly overs by the Spitfire and the other planes, which filled me with more pride of my British heritage than seeing 'the kiss'.

Also, I was creased up laughing at those who had gathered BEHIND THE FOUNTAIN. What were they able to see?

I saw the tail end of the ceremony as I was cooking breakfast, it looked like a live-action Disney movie. It was quite astounding to see that such pomp and circumstance could still exist in today's society.

Not at all, it was just somewhat awe-inspiring. Most things in today's world are so over-exposed that it's hard to find a genuine moment like this one.

TY for this I have adblock but I barely use it and now I have found a good reason to use it.

Oh okay! I think I just picked up the wrong tone in your post, sorry . I agree, I think this was quite genuine. I didn't watch the entire thing but the parts that I did see displayed some real human moments.

I thought funniest thing about it was how all the commentators kept talking about how simple and low key it was.

My mom was commenting on that as well. She got married in 1981, had a simple service with just family, and so she rolled her eyes at the fact that everyone was saying this wedding was so "low-key". She must have been thinking something like "wow, if this is low-key, my own wedding must have been low-low-low-low-low-key!"

Speaking of commentators, there was a Facebook petition to get this man to commentate on the royal wedding.

^ Kammy's best was '...I dunno Jeff, has there? I must've missed that..' when asked about a red card.
