This is pointless, your argument is misappropriating facts to your own agenda, but I'm glad that you care so much about being right tbh, sad.

I'm sorry that we disagree, but how is it that I care more about being right than you do? Because I actually backed up the things that I said? Let's just agree to disagree.

You backed up your opinions....with more opinions

lulz

Lulzomfgtfomg. Well said.

Back on topic. From what I've heard, American prisonser have it much better of than those in some other countries. Brutal beatings and torturing seem commonplace in some countries.

Sansa Stark 06-22-2011 08:14 PM

That doesn't disprove the fact you aren't backing up anything with fact.

Indeed I did. All of your supporting material only served to help prove MY point. Oh to be young again. Arguing over this is futile, as neither one of us are going to change our minds. You think drug addiction is an illness. I say that addiction in and of itself is not an illness.

I take 3,000mg per day of the drug Levetiracetam for my epilepsy. If you withhold it from me, I'm sure I would have withdrawals. I'm addicted to it. But is this addiction an illness? No. Does this drug addiction cause me to be ill? No. There you go.

If you think about it, I'm really just expanding on your idea to make it more correct.

The Virgin - I think it is really sad if you truly feel this way. It reminds me of the parent that beats their child for misbehaving instead of correcting them and nurturing them towards the correct behavior. Based on your quote, the prisoner would only leave prison angrier and more violent than when they went in. With this mentality, it's no suprise that the percentage of prisoners that go back to prison is so high.

I don't want to go into raising a child wank but you've never been spanked ever growing up. Those two go hand in hand, most parents that spank also correct them and let them know what they did wrong and why the spank just comes on the tail end after saying all of that.

no, it's not the mentality that serves as the reason why prisoners return to prison. It's that american society doesn't give two ****s about prisoners and there aren't many jobs that they can get once getting out.

They still have bills and are still expected to be upstanding citizens but no one wants to hire them and then they go back to the same activity that got them arrested in the first place because they need to survive.

you are right! some other countries treat their prisoners way worse than the treatment that American prisoners get except for Norway because they are the perfect country and never do anything wrong.
