people seem to forget that bolded part quite often and they make it seem like they are permanent and you can't do much with it.

That article for google+ that Vanilla posted is all sorts of wrong. You don't know facebook too well if you don't think that those things can be done on it.

The only real benefit I see to having google+ atm is that they don't have apps. I should look for the setting to block all app invites. So annoying those little buggers.
