I thought the existence of God is an old belief which is generally being replaced with a newer belief in science. Aren't you the one hanging on to past "knowledge"?

As for the fasting man, I'll remain sceptical until a serious study is published. If it is true, then a scientific article or even a series of them should be right around the corner. I'll happily believe in it when it has passed scientific quality control.

From a religious point of view, the fasting man is a devoted follower of the hindy goddess Amba .. So if his case proves the existence of a Deity, it should be Amba's existence.

If it's God doing it, then that should show how God will support you your whole life even if you don't worship him and instead dedicate your life to breaking his commandment "thou shalt have none other gods before me".

Sounds like you're invoking Jehovah. If you think he's jealous of other gods, then it's inconsistent to use the capital God as if he's the only one.
