The topic here is "do people need alcohol to have fun?" Let's stick to it.
|
I can have fun without alcohol, but I can have a **** lot more fun with it.

For some people, alcohol can affect them in negative ways such as increasing violent tendencies, taking advantage of another drunk person, and getting in a car and driving. There are those who can't handle their drink so this is a way of suggesting they may be better of not drinking at all. You can still be sober and have a good time. If this was not correct, people would be drunk all the time. I think it's great for making people feel confident, but eventually you've got to try and build some self-confidence and learn to socially interact with people. No one says you have to be a social butterfly but you'll find a lot of people are just as insecure as you in social settings. And it's alcoholism. |
I can have fun with alcohol, and also have fun without alcohol, depending on the situation/my situation, etc.
If I am in a drinking situation with friends or co-workers, I almost always partake. But I do not feel pressure to do so, it is something that I want to do. I try not to judge someone for drinking/not drinking, etc. as it is their choice to make, as long as they are good with it. Right? |
