The reason I'm guessing it was the English case was because you mentioned both parents being involved. In the American one Fred mentioned I think it was just the father.

Really, I always thought UK news would be quite limited in the USA.

I guess it depends on the news story, but I'd say we probably get more news from the UK than we do from any other country.

We get a whole load of stuff from the USA. It usually breaks down into various categories. 1) Proper news about what goes on there 2) Where are they going to invade next, as we'll have to get involved too 3) What are those crazy Americans upto now and we'll see some crazy footage about something from there.

Heh. Yeah, and I've always been under the impression that #3 is about 90% of it.

Definitely. So far every American member (Except Franco) goes against the grain of the stereotype.

It normally involves manic car chases with police cars and helicopters, people jumping into waterways in Florida that are frequented with alligators, crackpots that are visited by aliens, bible-belt fanatics who have just seen God and people dying from eating oversized hamburgers.

Gosh, I'd love to live over there and see some of this stuff first hand.
