This story sounds like the one where they suspended a 6 year old kid for "threatening to shoot another student" with finger guns.

These zero tolerance policies are a bit extreme. Although to be fair in the case that I linked. The kid was warned and they attempted to explain the seriousness behind him doing it and he continued anyways.

This may be a stretch but the emergence of more and more articles like these, coupled with following current affairs really seems like the foreshadowing of the next best totalitarian regime.
