He certianly is! And then he had a really loud phone conversation and kept tapping his feet. I had had a rough day so was not in the mood for that. I suppose in most countries that you'd just have to get over it due to the amount of people on the bus/train. First world problems.

Make whatever conclusions about that statement, but I found it particularly inflammatory.

It honestly makes me a little uncomfortable knowing that you can't take your female friend or significant other somewhere due to how some people view women. The way some people can treat others due to gender, race, (ect.) makes my mind wander into fucked up places. The fact that I have such a view makes me a privileged dickbag liberal. I just find it truly frightening how these views exist within some people, despite however irrational it may be.

lol true that. Did he seem like he was in on bisness? That may have to do with his complete disregard for decency, since he was in shortly and you weren't clientèle and he was a douche.

But on topic, this is actually very disturbing, but not exactly uncommon, especially in the country but of course in the larger context internationally. As the story mentions, this follows the gang rape of a woman on a bus of all places a few months ago. Unfortunately she was lost; though this girl will feel great pain in her life, it is wonderful that she lived. Her parents still have a daughter, and she still gets the love of her parents, and a complete life hopefully.

He was with his wife and from what I could gather they seemed pretty relaxed as though they live here. But I could be wrong. Yeah bb, if I'm not serving him, I mean nothing.

In regards to your second paragraph, gang rapes happen all the time in India. It makes me sick to think that I can't feel safe in India even on transport because I may be gang raped (especially as a white blonde haired woman - standing out I mean).

I hate to take away from the serious subject matter but those people are the worst ever. I'm pretty sure you wouldn't have actually found yourself in any trouble for beating him senseless because no way does anybody have a modicum of sympathy for those people.

I would have loved to have done that but I am too polite. I quite loudly said OW! And a guy behind him totally realised what had happened and gave me a sympathetic look.

Unfortunately I would be charged with assault and I honestly think that's a little extreme. I felt like giving him a bloody good ear chewing.
