I do respect women TH. I respect everyone until they give me a reason not to. Hitting me is one of those reasons.

I would say it's misogynist tbh because the idea is that they're all weak and not capable of fighting, some women are hard as fuck. Refusing to hit a someone isn't misogynist but the reasoning behind it imo is.

Personally, I disagree...no matter how crazy the woman gets there is no reason to hit her ever... Men are about 10x stronger then women and might not realize their own strength so to haul off and sock her one is inappropriate retaliation... I am all for equal rights... and what have you... but I understand the human body both male and female are designed differently... I don't even think I would excuse... a man slapping a female body builder down.... you just don't hit girls...

Men aren't 10 times stronger than women. I know from having a sister and fighting with her as kids that this isn't true. Pound for pound we are stronger but 10 times? Slight exaggeration there.

I was actually gonna say it was more closely linked to chauvinism than equal rights but I opted for misogyny. Sorry.

I have been beaten on by a guy ...many many times... and to tell you the truth I dunno wheather it was my sick idea of love at the time, or what have you but I never hit him back...with my fists...(I hit him with my car one night but that is besides the point....) and the night I decided I had finally had enough we went toe toe, I didn't hurt him as badly as he hurt me...but he damn sure knew he was in a fight the next morning...

I liked to fight when I was younger... but I only fought when I felt it was warranted and I only fought other girls...

I was in Morocco as a teenager and a guy that I didn't know, and had no relationship to me what so ever slapped me because I got mouthy with him because I didn't want him to put his hands on me...this guy was 2 times my weight and size...and I hauled off and hit him over and over...would it be right to assume that he would have been wrong had he continued to hit (or assault me?)

I'm not talking about it being fine for a man to attack a woman first though, I'm talking about a woman striking first and a man retaliating. Hitting someone is wrong, hitting someone back? Not so much. I've never heard a decent argument against hitting a woman back. I expect something more than "it just is".

well I can't sway your opinion and it is valid none the less because it is yours.... just take it easy if you get hit first...remember that is someone's sister, mother, aunt, niece what have you and you would probably be ****in irate if happened to you and yours no matter what she did to "warrant" it... women were designed to be the softer sex in my never to be humble opinion....so I don't personally think that we can withstand the blows from men the way other men can withstand them... there are some very tough girls out there...yes and I am not taking it away from them by any means... More power to you chica do what you do...but I still think women are just a tad softer...then men...

I agree. Men are brawlers, they are made for fighting and taking hits. The reason why more men play football is because if they get injured, they can recover from it faster than women. This is a fact. Even if a woman bodybuilder was assaulting me, first I would try to knock her to the ground and run, not just leave a devastating blow.
