It's obviously a very small gesture, at a very small protest, but It's a warming story all the same.

I'd like to think that those protesters that went inside found themselves enlightened by the warm gestures offered to them by their former targets of hate and became non-despicable people. Is that too optimistic? It certainly feels like it is.

Way too optimistic. These guys are too ignorant to change their minds, although I did see some of them smile in the photos as they were being handed tea.
