I'm sure many of us have been at least associated with pregnant women complaining about it. Sometimes taking someone's word for it is probably sufficient enough to get a general idea.

I had salmonella poisoning once. It was the worst thing that ever physically happened to me. Worse than the worst flu I've ever had. I almost died from the fever.
Are you willing to take my word for it, or would you rather go lick some salmonella germs in order to be as objective as possible about your answer?

Some women sail through pregnancy and glow through the whole 9 months. Other women suffer from nausea, terrible back ache, acne, greasy hair and piles (haemorrhoids). It's the risk you gotta take

Pregnancy is completely subjective, it differs from person to person and even then no pregnancy is the same. My mum had two great pregnancies and one horrible one. Pregnant women often MISS being pregnant.

Ok, I've stayed out of this argument, as I don't feel it's my place to criticize people's lifestyle choices of this sort. Additionally, I lkke you, LiL. But I didn't like the above quote. My mom died of terminal cancer pretty much everywhere from the breast to the brain, it was a terrible thing to witness, and I feel the above quote (with the understanding that there is a degree of hyperbole in the statement) is a fairly flippant thing to say about a horrible way to die.
