I think that JWB is upset because he wanted the ending to be more ambiguous, like The Sopranos. Typical Frownland move on his part.

Agree with both points. They made Hank stay true to character instead of allowing Walt to turn him. I didn't like the amount of powers of manipulation they gave WW.

As for your second point, I've compared the show to Weeds multiple times (only when comparing what the story is about and not the target audience/style. I loved Weeds as a comedy). It started out written in as believable a sense as you can achieve from that kind of story, and by the end it was so over the top it was disappointing.
