Also, I've noticed I'd go on google to find out, say, when a book was written, but end up reading about how the Chinese would make rice cakes, or some other fact that I don't really care about. I kinda get mesmerised by all the info, but know deep down that none of it will improve my life. So I'm trying to keep it to a minimum.

All that aside the company is still scum, and before you go off on some rant about GMOs, my opinion is not because they are manufacturing them.

Do go on.

I'm not writing an essay, do your own research. The company uses its massive success to push it's own agenda and drive profits with little concern for anything else.

It's like the Walmart of biotechnology, no thanks. Please don't tell me you think Walmart is a good company, too.

Dude, you're in college. Like, real college. You can't just make a claim and then tell someone to do all the legwork that you should have done before you made the claim in the first place.

Yes, I can. This isn't college, it's finals week, and I don't have the time or energy to go and find the dozens of links and discussion points I've had throughout my college career as an Environmental Science major. My sentence perfectly describes why I dislike the company and if Frown has done any sort of research about the company he will know exactly what I am talking about, which has 0 to do with the actual production of GMOs and everything to do with the companies business practices.

I have done quite a bit of research, and I've seen things like the Indian farmer suicides, suing farmers for cross pollenated crops, using terminator seeds, their affiliation with Agent Orange, their monopoly on the market, and that they successfully lobbied for Obama to sign an executive order that lets them get away with shady stuff. All of which I found to be either entirely untrue, based on half truths, or exaggerated/irrelevant to Monsanto as we know it to day (Agent Orange, mainly) upon further research. You don't have to write an essay, just drop in some buzzwords I can Google.

I think the corporation has become too much of a bogeyman for people these days.

Also, it seems like the tribunal is more of a hallucination of a trial and more of an echo chamber for anti-GMO activists/shills to find Monsanto guilty of whatever they want them to be, as if it makes any real difference.

Forbes Welcome
