I just wish both sides would blow each other to smithereens and so we don't have to hear about this dreary conflict that neither side wants to resolve ever again.

My thoughts as well. Plus, "the Brigade of Repression of Delinquency People" sounds like a typically absurd song title for a Frank Zappa/Mothers of Invention tune.
