not to be that guy once again... but didn't you say something along the lines of 'all religion needs to die?'

pretty sure you and dawkins are in the same camp, lol. the difference is he revels in the controversy, while you shy away from it.

Religion does not equal faith.

Faith does not equal religion.

I don't shy away from anything.

I believe in the possibility of the existence of a godlike being. I don't believe in any god as described by humans and I don't believe that a godlike being is actually responsible for our existence.

Learn the difference between faith and religion and then we can converse.

What's the difference between faith and wishful thinking?

I have faith that things will work out for me and my wife, regardless of all of the bull**** we've had to deal with these past few years.

Is it wishful thinking? Of course. It's all context man.

I don't believe in God because if God were real, I'd be able to grab food from the kitchen without leaving my computer chair.

I think it's more along the line of hope and pretty different from the faith in supernatural things, because you know that things might still go awry, but you also know from past experiences, that you are someone who is capable of getting things done, dealing with things and that things sometimes just do work out.

Just put your computer in the kitchen.

Am...am I your god now?
