Why? I agreed with you.
Refusing service to gay couples is an incredibly ****ty thing to do, but it shouldn't be illegal.

Why don't gay couples deserve the same rights and civil liberties as anyone else?

I always thought private businesses are free to choose whom they service.
Not just talking about gay couples here.
Once again, I don't personally condone this behaviour, homophobia is ignorant and plain wrong, I just don't think it should be illegal.

so basically you disagree with the fact that the civil rights movement forced businesses to serve black people and white people the same?

Ya, so you're cool with this coming back?

On the note of this, when did marriage become a right? It's a Christian service, so why are gays even in the discussion.

Weak argument, man. Once upon a time democratic voting was only intended for white land owning males.

Also, there are so many bureaucratic rights that that are associated with marriage that it absolutely SHOULD be extended to every citizen.

It's a persons right to spend their life with whomever they choose. Service or no service. Because someone prefers the company of the same sex why are we condemning them to a life of loneliness?

I'm actually going to go totally the other way with this now. I'm tired of religious freedom being invoked improperly. If you're going to be open to the public, you are not allowed to discriminate.
